Members of Somali-American community rally in support of Mohamed Noor

Nearly 200 people gathered outside the Hennepin County Government Center Thursday evening to rally in support of former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor.

Many were from Noor’s Somali-American immigrant community.The event, held just hours before his sentencing for the killing of Justine Ruszczyk Damond, decried what community members called a racial double standard in the criminal justice system.
