Former Somalia national team coach Bashir Hayford has stated that he is ready to put in some work when he is called by a club after leaving Somalia.
The coach left the Somalia national team, sparking questions among Ghanaians but he quickly explained why he left the country.
“I have decided not to go back to Somalia because of their political conflict that is going on in the nation, no body sacked me. [I] am ready to work with any club that will contact me if only am not doing anything by that time,” he told ahomka FM.
He added that he was encouraged to apply for the vacant GFA Technical Director’s role after Mr. Oti Akentang was assigned to a different role.
“[I] am in a good relationship with Mr.Oti Akentang and he even contacted me to apply for the job (GFA technical director) but is not like am sabotaging him”.
